There aren't too many cities where you can actually climb up a mountain, so it was awesome doing just that today in Santiago. Two of my friends and I went up to one of the most beautiful spots in the city, called San Cristobal. After an hour and a half of walking, we finally made it to the top where there is a huge statue of the Virgin Mary, and of course a beautiful panoramic view of the city. It was also special being up there today because of Palm Sunday. There is an outdoor area where they hold mass, and a beautiful church. I might have to make this hike part of my weekly routine!
